Welcome to Carl's General Education Requirements Calculator

This is a tool I have developed for my (or any) ECU students to help them evaluate their General Education status.

Legal Stuff: East Carolina University in no way endorses this tool or the results it produces. Given the large amount of information that has to be entered by hand, errors or omissions are possible. So use this tool as an aid but verify its results in consultation with your advisor! Report all suspected errors or omissions to phadler@eastnet.educ.ecu.edu .

When you are done you will receive a report on your General Ed progress that can be printed

Follow the three steps below:

(1) If you have a Major or know your intended Major see if it is listed below and if so select it. If it is not listed select "None Of These". If you do not have a Major and do not have an intended Major select "Have Not Decided".

(2)From the list below select the 3 or 4 letter code for a course you have completed (e.g., PHYS is Physics, MATH is Mathematics). Each Selection will produce a list of 1000 and 2000 level courses applicable to General Education credit on the right. From the list select each course you have taken under that course code. Repeat this procedure until you have entered every course you have completed and then press DONE. At each step your results will be added to the text area below. The UNDO button will undo the last listed entry. You can use multiple undos
